Preparation
& Notes
Bring along: Yourself, just as you are. The willingness to move physically. Within your limits and possibilities. You don't have to be athletic and physical limitations shouldn't hold you back!
Your willingness to get involved. Even if you may have already tried a few things. Above all, to yourself, to each other. The desire to want to “take charge” of something yourself. It's about tracking something down, empathizing, becoming more aware. It's not about continuing to “switch off”, running away and cultivating old habits with new distractions.
Even in difficult emotions, I hold the space for you and also provide balancing impulses so that you can show yourself and try things out.
Important:
Somatic coaching is more practical and closer to the here and now and forward-looking. As well as building your own understanding and self-effective learning.
It is clearly not a mental, conversation-oriented practice and no classic therapy and diagnostics are offered here!
However, you should be aware that it can have profound somatic and neurological effects, especially if we work together over a longer period of time. I recommend that you feel fundamentally stable/ receptive or, if in doubt, talk to your therapist about accompanying work.
